The food was fresh, generous portions, and delicious & the service was friendly, fast, and great! Worth the drive from anywhere in metro atlanta .

Food is fantastic every time. Service is always on point with friendly/attentive staff. Highly recommend the ahi tuna appetizer and their panini!

Our server, Belle, was very friendly and attentive and as a tip, Sunday nights are bit slower here. So it's a classy spot where you don't have to fight for reservations for a nice meal. We began with the Parmesan shrimp appetizer with large plump shrimp (tail on) and toasted crostini. We weren't terribly hungry, so we both had salads: my wife had the pecan encrusted chicken while I had the classic Caesar. Mine was fresh testing with everything chopped nicely and I didn't have to wrestle with any giant pieces of lettuce. The restaurant also has a patio with umbrella tables, although it was too chilly on our visit for al fresco dining.

After shopping all day it was time for a nice lil lunch near Hickory Flat Krogers. upon entry we were a bit confused about theme of the place, is it a sports bar? is it a upscale dining restaurant? is it a diner? Nonetheless we took a chance. Overall i though the place was nice, it was well intended for the Hickory Flat audience, but still mystified about the menu. Offerings of upscale items such as Scallops and higher end cuts of meats was a nice touch, we wanted something simpler. A cheeseburger mind you. LOL The server was a great gal who was very on her business and prompt with her delivery. If i was in the area again i would like to come back and tackle the bar...

Really good food, excellent bar service and comfortable environment. Very thankful to have another higher end, sit down restaurant without having to drive to Canton. Taylor at the bar made the visit fun and made great drinks for us. The shrimp and grits dish is one of the best I have had. And I highly recommend. Portions were huge. Stuffed mushrooms were excellent ,as well. Cesar salad was so big she couldn't finish it. Highly recommend and will be back very soon. We appreciate having this so close!

Each and every time the food is fantastic! The chef is creative and we've never gone wrong with a special or anything on the menu! Service has been great! Miriam and Bethany have taken great care of us each time we come in! Quaint looking from the outside, warm and cozy on the inside. Has a private room and plenty of seating for small and large parties as well as a full bar. Don't sleep on HFK, this will be a place where there is always a wait once the word spreads.

I was in one of those moods where everything was the same old thing. So I was looking for something new to try and came across the newly opened Hickory Flat Kitchen. A very modern and open theme with a nice layout. I thought for being so new to open there would be some glitches but not the case. All went well and smooth. Seating, ordering, service, entrees, dessert and checkout very good. Deciding on the Garlic Parmesan Shrimp for an appetizer was an awesome choice. 6 jumbo shrimp sautéed and served in a garlic parmesan sauce was delicious and filling. And the Grilled Chicken Breast came with 2, 5oz chargrilled chicken breasts with seasonal veggies, caramelized onions for 20 dollars. I thought a very good value for the amount of food you get. Finishing off a delicious and very enjoyable experience was the Baked Walnut Fudge Brownie with raspberry coulis topped with French vanilla ice cream. Very very good. Just not sure why a brownie and a scoop of ice cream took so long to come out. But it was definitely worth it. A very excellent experience for a restaurant thats only been open 3 weeks. HFK is on their way to having a booming business.
